Getting 'Closer'

This Summer you can come and see me in Patrick Marber's Closer. This will run for two days on the main stage of the South Shields Custom's House Theatre.

Date: 7:30pm Fri 22nd & Sat 23rd July 2011.
Tickets £10. Concessions £8

Searching For Doctor Branovic

Come and support me in my next outing as the recovering suicidal Joe Tyler in David Tristram's comedy 'Searching For Doctor Branovic', sequel to the hilarious 'Forget-Me-Knot'.

It will be performed for 3 days at The Customs House in South Shields starting Monday 21st February 2011.

"Emma Tyler mourns the sudden and unexpected death of her husband, Joe.

But all is not as it seems and, deep in the bowels of a nearby hospital, something stirs.

Enter Detective Inspector Monroe - a man who knows a thing or two about the unexpected. Last memorably seen in "Forget-Me-Knot", the grumpy, beleaguered detective soon finds himself right in the middle of another mystery which threatens to unhinge his sanity.

How did Joe manage to walk out of his own post-mortem? Where is the mysterious Doctor Branovic? How did the toaster get dented on both sides? Why has Monroe got a hole in his right hand? And, most crucially of all, does Emma Tyler really own a cat?

Throughout this highly unusual romp, the audience often know far more than the characters. But can they possibly see what's coming?"

Selection Box

This Christmas you can see me perform in the comedy variety show 'Selection Box'.

It will be performed for 4 days at The Infinity Bar and Entertainment Suite in Sunderland (Formerly The Theatre Restaurant) starting Monday 13th September 2010.

With classic sketches from Monty Python, The Two Ronnies, Rowan Atkinson and many more this is sure to tickle your tinselly bits this festive season.

Tickets are only £29.95 (Buy One Get One Free) and includes a scrumptious 3-course meal.

Forget-Me-Knot

Come and support me in my next outing as the amnesiac Robert Zeinfeld in David Tristram's comedy 'Forget-Me-Knot'.

It will be performed for 3 days at The Customs House in South Shields starting Monday 27th September 2010.

"Imagine the plight of poor Robert Zeinfeld. Found wandering the streets at 4am, without even the slightest clue how he got there. Total amnesia! Only a bruised head and a suspicious policeman for company. Perhaps this Zeinfeld character is not what he seems. Perhaps he's got something to hide. Perhaps he hasn't lost his memory at all?

The trouble is, the deeper the policeman digs, the more confused he gets, until he finds himself wrestling a plot with more twists and turns than a buckled slinky."

Tape

I will be playing Vince, the down and out drug dealing/volunteer fireman, in Stephen Belber's "Tape" at The Royalty Theatre, Sunderland for one night only!

The show starts at 7:30pm on Saturday 26th June 2010.

"Three friends from high school revisit a shocking event ten years before. Ruthless accusations, festering resentment and unresolved sexual jealousies are exposed. "Tape" is an unsettling drama about the love-hate chemistry that endures between friends."

Finders Keepers

My next theatrical outing will be as Paul Fishman in the original stage play "Finders Keepers".

It will initially be a one night only performance on the 26th April at The Customs House in South Shields, if all goes well then possibly a longer run later in the year.

"Finders Keepers is a dramatic thriller where the numbers don't lie but the players just might!

After finding a wallet in the street, 'Tepper' calls the owner in order to return it. After making the call however, he discovers that the lottery ticket inside is a $6 million winner. To add to things, his friends are on their way over for their weekly poker night and the group tradition is to bet their lottery tickets. When the wallet's owner shows up and joins the game, who will walk out as the winner?"

Burnings of the Heart

It's just been confirmed that I have recieved the lead roll of William Tyndale in the upcoming movie "Burnings of the Heart"

Exciting news and I'm very pleased.

Filming planned for late October.

Visit my showreel to watch the official trailer.

Tyndale in Tyneside

I recieved a last minute audition, in Gateshead, yesterday for a feature film called "Burning's of the Heart".

I had only one day to prepare for the lead character William Tyndale.

However, despite minimal time to prepare, I thought I gave an insightful and believeable portrayl and so I now wait with baited breath as to whether I will recieve the part.

"William Tyndale was a 16th-century Protestant reformer and scholar who translated the Bible into the Early Modern English of his day. Tyndale's was the first English translation to draw directly from Hebrew and Greek texts, and the first to take advantage of the new medium of print, which allowed for its wide distribution. In 1535, Tyndale was arrested, tried for heresy and burned at the stake. He was strangled before his body was burnt."

The Show Must Go On

One week prior to opening night, I recieved a call saying they were a man down and was I up for the part.

So I stepped into the breach to perform as Leonarto in William Shakespeare's 'Much Ado About Nothing'.
